About the Author Gunnar Adler-Karlsson, educated in economics by the Nobel Prize-winning Gunnar Myrdal, wrote a book on Western economic warfare between 1949 and 1967, which is sometimes still mentioned as the classical book in that field. After fifteen years as a professor in Denmark, in 1988 he established the Institute for International Social Philosophy at the island of Capri.
