I agree fully with the previous reviewers: not quite capable of delivering everything its title seems to promise, but a quality, concise introductory text.
Excellent value and attractive appearance. (Posted on 3/12/11)
A good study for us who are little familiar with traditionalism, a work that sums up a lot of ideas and creates a good introduction, although it is recommended for existing traditionalists. (Posted on 1/14/11)
This is probably the briefest, most intelligible summary of Julius Evola's ideas available in the english language (though perhaps a bit too brief to produce any real understanding). Concise, precise and a pleasure to read. The only negative point, which has been raised by other reviewers, is that the title may be promising more than it delivers; certainly a form of traditional living is suggested, but as a general handbook (especially for the individual) it does fall somewhat short. The part dedicated to practical living (”The Front of Tradition”) is really more of a guidebook for a political organisation than a more general guideline for individuals looking to implement traditional principles in their lives. Even so, this is a more or less essential publication. (Posted on 1/10/11)
